Next In Line
Starting with the theme of the Jam, "Beyond the Wall", our team decided to try and recreate the atmosphere and feelings of 1980s Berlin, divided by the wall, where countless citizens were attempting to get past the barrier in search of freedom and a better life.

Inspired by historical reconstructions of Checkpoint Charlie and gathering references of other areas of Berlin too, using a more sketchy and low-poly style we created a short puzzle/stealth game in which each life is crucial to paving the way for another fugitive, thus the name we chose for this project.
This also serves as a remembrance of all the real victims of failed escape attempts.

JAM
PROJECT

AS A GAME DESIGNER

-
I assisted the team during the project ideation phase, participating in the organization and management of brainstorming sessions and the subsequent task division

-
I was always available to all departments for feedback and/or clarifications regarding game mechanics and the core vision of the project

-
To provide the team with the necessary tools, I collaborated on the needed documentation given the limited time we had. I also created the slideshow for the project's final presentation.
